Production Design
Our rendition of Hedda Gabler took place in the Victorian time period. My concept was that Hedda's is trapped in a world that she really has no control over, so it seemed fitting to put Hedda inside of a cage.
She spends most of her time in her cage-like atrium within the Victorian house.
The color palette was solely inspired by Monet's Water Lillies series, and I decided to paint the scene with the lights fading up to the darks. Helping to convey that sinking feeling for Hedda
